Nebraska
Rod & Custom Association'Qualified Car Club Representatives wanted'
to act as Certified Vehicle Inspectors!
NRCA has been recognized by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles as a “Recognized Car Club” under Neb.Rev.Stat. 60-142.03. This allows the association to designate members as a “Qualified Car Club Representatives” for the purpose of inspecting vehicles, and provided the provisions of the state statutes are met, help the owner to get a title for an antique or classic assembled vehicle. To become a “Qualified Car Club Representative” there is an application which must be approved by NRCA and submitted to the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles. This application must specify the types, years, makes and models of vehicle the application believes he or she is qualified to inspect. Inspections are for the purpose of determining if replacement parts are essentially the same design and material to that originally supplied by the manufacturer for that specific make and model of vehicle.
This process can help you obtain a title in some instances and we are currently soliciting the membership looking for members who want to become a “Qualified Car Club Representative”. A meeting will be scheduled in April provide information, education and to complete the required application. NRCA believes we can be of great assistance in this process by having numerous inspectors located all over the state. Currently we have 19 members who are interested, but we can use many more. The following link will take you to a form you can print out and send to NRCA with your name and contact information. This will put you on the list of members to be notified of the time and place for the April meeting. If you have any questions, email us - Gary Hedman.
