Member Help requested.
NRCA will again act as the “host club” for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Hot Rod Super Nationals in Lincoln May 28th thru the 30th. As part of the package agreed to, we will run the registration, games and the burn out contest. We are allowed 30 members to help with these duties over the 4 days and there are advantages to working a shift or two. Each member who works will receive a complimentary entry into the show, goody bag, and an event shirt.
We need 10 workers on Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th. On Saturday the 29th we need 14 and Sunday we need 10. Doing the math it is obvious we will need some members to work more than one day. While not working you may of course attend the event as any other participant and even be eligible for prizes and awards.
To receive the free entry etc, of course you must be an NRCA member. We request that you bring a vehicle to be displayed in our reserved area.
We were asked to do this because of our their satisfaction of how we handled registration for the Hot Rod Power Tour. To quote “you all showed up as you said you would, you had matching shirts on and sat down and did the work like it was nothing new to you”.
The other requirement is that you will be required to purchase an NRCA golf shirt unless you already have one. The cost is $20 and it is then yours to keep.
