Tour Nebraska 2006 Photo Album

Tour Nebraska Logo

Friday Night June 2nd, Sat June 3rd and Sunday June 4th.

The Following is a collection of Photos from Tour Nebr 2006.

They are arranged in order - can you follow the story line?

If you were on the Tour, it should be no problem.

If you missed the Tour, then - too bad - so sad.

Over 340 cars began arriving Friday afternoon.

Since the Tour is a very specialized event, it demands some very special equipment.

Like, in this case, the ability to go from 1st to 2nd gear without crawling under the car.

The Tour is not a spit and polish event, but when your truck is

so dirty that trees actually start to grow out of it - that is too dirty.

Lets get the paperwork over with so we can get back to the cars.

Everyone helped, or they just stood by the cars and grinned.

One of the few hover craft to enter the Tour Nebraska.

This coupe is so small that there is only room for one bucket seat inside the car.

No Problem - just mount a saddle on the front fender and 'Ridem Cowboy'.

Ok, help me with this. I understand that Hwy 11 is left, but is that 11 north or south?

And, this is why I love Hwy 70, because it doesn't matter which way I turn - I can't get lost.

First Break - time for fluids out and fluids in.

Ready, Set, Go - run for the homemade cinnamon rolls.

Homemade cinnamon rolls and hot coffee - yes.

Now, where did I park?

Then we were onto O'Neill for lunch.

Lunch was catered by the World Famous Stockies Barbecue of Norfolk.

The cars just keep on coming.

And coming.

Great Food and Great Cheerleaders.

The Porta Pottie business was booming for Fred.

Thanks again to the local Scout Troop for parking and crowd control.

Back in Columbus, time to Party.

Nothing beats a good time with good friends.

What a guy, Gary helps three little girls who had lost their way.

Kinda like asking the Big Bad Wolf for directions in the forest.

Sunday morning dawns clear and very Red, White and Blue.

Back on the road for Day #2.

First stop Sunday Morning - St Paul, Ne.

This is one Hellava Cool Motor Stand.

Beautiful day, beautiful cars and beautiful girls.

Now do we provide a quality event or what?

Sorry, but this conversation is way too technical for a caption.

Actually, I think they are speaking Mopar.

Hugh Heffner and the Hooters Babe are really the Mayor of St Paul and his young wife.

They were great hosts as they invited a few close friends ( 600 car folk ) for breakfast.

Cars, Cars, Cars.....................

If I hurry, there's time for one more brownie?

Time for the 'Five Minute Warning'.

And we are back on the Road.

Time for Lunch.

The Doniphan Volunteer Fireman hosted us for Lunch.

Cool Tour Picture.

Another Alternative Fuel Hot Rod.

Our Fearless Leaders ready to run the final of leg of Tour Nebr 2006.

Great Finish Line party at Valley Speed Shop in Central City, Ne.

Ready for Next Year ?

Thanks to everyone who helped make Tour Nebraska 2006 a great success.

See all of you in 2007.

This is just a few of the pictures contained on our Tour Nebraska 2006 DVD.
