1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Hardtop

My mother had a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 that
had been stored in her garage for many years. A few years ago she purchased
a new car and called me to "get that old car out of my garage".
After a few hours of work it was running. I decided to give it a little
run down the road. To my surprise, I had forgotten how much power those
old cars have. I took it home and began to restore it. It is still a work
in progress. So far it has had a total rebuild on the 390 cubic inch engine,
new brakes, new power steering, total rust removal and custom mixed red
paint with pearl and clear coat. The original interior remains in good shape.
A pleated package shelf has been added. We enjoy taking it to car shows
and on rod runs. Thanks Mom!
